Notice is hereby given that the Stanislaus Local Agency Formation Commission (LAFCO) will hold the following public hearings on Wednesday, February 22, 2012, at a meeting starting at 6:00 PM in the Joint Chambers, Basement Level, Tenth Street Place, 1010 Tenth Street, Modesto, CA, to consider the following:  (1) Municipal Service Review (MSR) No. 11-05, Sphere of Influence Modification No. 2011-03, and LAFCO Application No. 2011-04 - West Landing Specific Plan Reorganization to the City of Ceres; and (2) LAFCO Application No. 2011-07 - Shackelford Change of Organization to the City of Modesto.  Copies of the staff reports will be available at the LAFCO Office (1010 Tenth Street, 3rd Floor, Modesto, CA) and online five days prior to the meeting date.  All interested parties are invited to attend the public hearing.  Questions about the above may be directed to the LAFCO office at (209) 525-7660.  To view the mailed notices and maps of the affected areas, please see the links below:
