NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Stanislaus Local Agency Formation Commission will meet on January 25, 2023, at 6:00 p.m., in basement chambers, Tenth Street Place, 1010 Tenth Street, Modesto, California regarding a request to detach areas from the Central California Irrigation District (CCID) that overlap the current City Limits of Newman. Properties within CCID are typically detached simultaneously upon annexation to the City of Newman. There are currently a number of properties that were not detached, leaving CCID with multiple overlapping areas of properties that are no longer receiving CCID services. Detachment from CCID would eliminate the District/City overlap

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Stanislaus Local Agency Formation Commission will meet on September 28, 2022, at 6:00 p.m., in basement chambers, Tenth Street Place, 1010 Tenth Street, Modesto, California regarding the City of Modesto Fire Service Contract with the Salida Fire Protection District. A request to approve a fire services contract for the provision of fire services outside the City of Modesto's jurisdictional boundaries to the Salida Fire Protection District and its service areas.

Project Description: The City of Modesto is requesting to provide an area wide out-of-boundary sewer service extension to the unincorporated Rouse/Colorado neighborhoods outside the City of Modesto’s existing city limits. The area consists of approximately 154 acres. As the territory is outside the City’s limits, LAFCO review is required prior to the extension of City services.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Stanislaus Local Agency Formation Commission will meet on March 23, 2022, at 6:00 p.m., in basement chambers, Tenth Street Place, 1010 Tenth Street, Modesto, California regarding a request from the City of Modesto to annex approximately 178 acres located south of the Tuolumne River, east of Carpenter Road, and north of Whitmore Avenue, including adjacent road right-of-way. The request will also simultaneously detach the area from the Burbank-Paradise and Westport Fire Protection Districts. The annexation is within the City’s Sphere of Influence and is meant to accommodate new residential development and a commercial area within the Fairview Village Specific Plan area.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Wednesday, July 20, 2022, at 10:00 a.m., at the Basement Training Room – Basement Level, 1010 10th Street, in Modesto, the Stanislaus Local Agency Formation Commission (LAFCO) will conduct a Protest Hearing regarding LAFCO Application No. 2022-01, Municipal Service eview No. 2022-01 and SOI Update No. 2022-01 - Activaton of Latent Powers (Sewer Service) to the Monterey Park Tract Community Services District: A request to add sewer service to its authroized services.

Project Description: The proposed project is a request to annex a parcel totaling approximately 9.77 acres to the Keyes Community Services District to provide sewer and water services to a residential subdivision. The Commission recently approved annexation of the same territory into CSA 26 – Keyes.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Stanislaus Local Agency Formation Commission will conduct a Protest Hearing on June 29, 2021, at 10:00 a.m., in Conference Room 3001, 3^rd Floor, Tenth Street Place, 1010 Tenth Street, Modesto, California regarding the NORTHWEST NEWMAN PHASE I REORGANIZATION TO THE CITY OF NEWMAN: A request to annex approximately 53.47 acres to the City of Newman and simultaneously detach the area from the West Stanislaus Fire Protection District and Central California Irrigation District.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Stanislaus Local Agency Formation Commission will conduct a Protest Hearing on May 24, 2021 at 10:00 a.m., at the Joint Chambers - Basement Level, 1010 Tenth Street, Modesto, California regarding:  LAFCO Application No. 2020-01 - Salida Stom Drain Reorganization to County Service Area 4 - A request to annex the Salida community (approximately 1,532 acres) into County Service Area (CSA) 4 to provide storm drain services and extend the assessment rate to the entire Salida area.  The proposal includes a divestiture of storm drain services from the existing CSA 10 and detachment of the Landmark Business Park area from CSA 10.  An updated Municipal Service Review and Sphere of Influence were also prepared for the proposal.
